All Bull

Walt Dyson

“What can you do?”

Based in suburban Australia, All Bull follows Ben, a witless alcoholic whose four friends and coworkers transform, one by one, into ‘Bulls’ until only Ben remains. Featuring an entirely trans, non-binary and female-led cast as ‘The Boys’, All Bull is a surreal, tragicomedy that examines Australian toxic masculinity and drinking culture.

Louise Jameson (Metamorphosis, Watch on the Rhine) leads an ensemble cast of six featuring Ashlynn Parigi (Jack Sharpe and The Curse of the Forbidden Fruit), Emily Farrell (Fairytalers, The Charade), Faun Xe (Breath of Kings, Mosaic,), Emily Jenkins (MUSE, Bruised), and Eden Bren (The Boys, Peer Gynt).

Across 50 minutes of fast-paced dialogue interspersed with stylistic physical theatre, All Bull asks how and why we collectively ignore the destructive and violent behaviours of monstrous men.

For fans of Trophy Boys, Patricia Cornelius and Eugene Ionesco’s Rhinoceros, All Bull invites you to leave your expectations at the door and indulge in this surrealist Australian cautionary tale
