On the 3rd of March 1867, Meat rained from the sky on Olyimpian Springs, a town in bath County, Kentucky. This is a gross overestimentation of the events that followed. A comedy packed and pulverised with godly butchers, eyelid batting cannibals and lies. lots and lots of lies. From emerging writer Alex Fimeri, this meaty thing contains introspections on leadership, religion and the young boy and his trusted hound tropes. Puppetry, cardboard hair, tissue paper remains.

Alex (she/they) is a Naarm-based artist whose work spans theatre-making, music and visual art. Living and working on unseeded Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung land, Alex is a graduate of VCA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre-Making.
Throughout her education, Alex has had experience as a director, writer, designer and maker/performer with an emerging practice centring the creation of diverse and meaningful representation within so-called “Australia’s” theatre sector. Their work flips between strange, absurdly comedic and completely, starkly serious.
