John Websters The Duchess of Malfi is considered one of the greatest of all Jacobean revenge tragedies. It tells a true story of love, betrayal and murder. The play centres around two great secrets. The first, a secret marriage, the second, the carrying out of tragic and unnecessary murders.

Join Arrant Knaves Theatre Company for a reimagined interpretation of the play as a gothic horror. With strikingly theatrical sets and visually spectacular lighting, together with Webster’s startling language, this production will draw spectators into a web of dark intrigue and horror.
