Rooted & Rising: Collective Stories Belonging

Experience a powerful and immersive evening of live performances featuring dance, spoken word, song, and visual storytelling by the 2025 Kwabo artists. The night includes participatory activities where the audience is invited to share personal and cultural stories, creating a collective narrative that celebrates identity and belonging. Enjoy a very affordable cultural meal supported by Tastes of Senegal and dance the night away to to DJ Chris NG’ & DJ Kase’ sounds.

Kwabo Festival 2025 Performance Night is the culmination of a 9 week peer led BIPOC arts incubator, the night promises to reveal weeks of cultural identity exploration, artistry and community spirit. Kwabo Means welcome in our Creative Director Gracieuse Amah’s mother tongue and thus everyone is welcome.
