In Essence is an art show fundraiser that features over 15 artists interpretations of the importance of preserving sacred spaces. The show comprises an array of mediums, such as paintings, photography, performance art and video. Opening at Meat Market on the 25th of February, from 6pm-11pm, a $15 ticket will get you a night of food, drinks and music.

Art.Cares aims to raise $1500 to donate to Black Wallaby Forest Action to aid in the grassroots initiatives that stop deforestation within Australia. This is a not-for-profit event, as such ticket sales are needed, and are available for purchase on Humantix.

This exhibition recognises that the event takes place on Wurundjeri
land of the Kulin Nations, we acknowledge the traditional owners and carers of this land and pay respect to all elders, past, present and emerging and extend that respect to include all Aboriginal, Torres Strait Island and First Nations people today. Sovereignty has never been ceded.
