Emergence is an exhibition that journeys through transformation – a shedding of old skin, old selves and old ways of life. As we see the world around us transform for good or for worse, that is something we cannot be sure of, this showcase will be a visceral reflection of the raw and often painful process of breaking through the darkness and stepping into clarity, wholeness and light. It is about the in-between – the liminal space where identity dissolves and something new begins to take shape.
There are 30 local and interstate artists coming together to explore what it means to unravel, to release and to rise. We invite you to join us to reflect on your own moments of rupture, revelation and renewal.
