BK Opera’s Don Giovanni

Experience a dark and intimate take on a Mozart classic with BK Opera’s ‘Don Giovanni. A two-act opera that retells the legend of Don Juan – a womaniser whose appetite for desire leads to his ultimate downfall. Coming to Meat Market Stables 24-28 September.

BK Opera was formed by Kate Millett and James Penn and has become known for their distinctive brand of modern interpretations on classic operas.

With a focus on working with emerging performers, they strip opera back to the ‘bare bones’ highlighting the emotional core of this timeless artform.
