Taking Up Space: Love Letters to our Queer Bodies
29 April, 2022, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Proudly supported by the City of Melbourne and Pride Foundation Australia, ‘Taking Up Space: Love Letters to our Queer Bodies’ is a multi-artform exhibit, showcasing the work of a diverse range of Queer writers, artists, and creatives, and the deserved celebration of their bodies.
Running for three nights, the exhibit begins with a love letter; the artists and community members involved will all be writing a love letter to their bodies and sharing it with the audience. These letters come in varying forms, with some expressed through drag and performance, and others through paint, photography, and fashion.
Including the work of Kyle KM, Frances Cannon, J Davies, Reuben James, Laura Du Ve, and Connor Milton. Performances and readings by over 30 different Queer creatives, that include Stone Motherless Cold, Blu Jay, Milo Hartill, Yves Rees, and so many more, these will be three beautiful nights.
