Saturday 27 Oct 11am to 3pm Saturday 27 Oct 4pm to 8pm Sunday 28 Oct 12pm to 6pm

What’s Junipalooza you ask? Let’s break it down:

Juni: An abbreviation of Gin’s signature botanical, juniper.
Palooza: A party, celebration or festival.
Junipalooza: Dozens and dozens of gin makers in one room, sharing their love for the spirit and serving up samples and stories for all to enjoy.

Junipalooza is heading back to the Meat Market in Melbourne for its third turn of the wheel, bringing with it familiar faces and a whole host of new distillers for you to sink your teeth into.

Junipalooza is very much one of a kind. Sure, other Gin festivals exist, but this is about more than the spirit – it’s about the people who make it, the stories behind it and the passion that goes into it. You’ll get a chance to chat to the distillers as you sip their gins, and gain a greater understanding of the botanicals at work as you taste them in situ.

All samples throughout the day are included in your ticket price, and with over 40 different distilleries in attendance, you’ll need to do some homework ahead of time to make sure you get the chance to swing by all your must-taste gins. (Word of warning: that list will be long!) You’ll be able to buy directly from the brands, should (or rather, when) you fall in love with the gins you try, but if you don’t want to weigh yourself down during the session you can swing via the Junipalooza shop on your way out to stock up in one fell swoop.

There’ll also be masterclasses to attend, huge stocks of tonic to taste and a fantastic pop-up from one of Melbourne’s most trailblazing cocktail bars.

Junipalooza is THE Melbourne event as far as gin fans are concerned, offering obsessives the chance to try something entirely different and newbies the chance to fall in love with the most creative, diverse and delicious of spirits.

To keep you in tip top shape for the day, there’ll be food from Burn City Smokers, Maker & Moner, The Brulee Cart and 196 Degrees Below, as well as water from Daylesford & Hepburn Springs.

We’re selling tickets in three tiers this year: Super Early Bird ($30), Early Bird ($40) and Standard ($50). There on sale now, so you best hurry if you want to catch a bargain.

See you down there…
