SUMMARY:Art for the Heart
DESCRIPTION:An interactive and inspirational exhibition of loss\, love and hope. Great for children as well with activities for all ages. \nArt for the heart is created by over 40 different people using media and techniques as diverse as painting\, felting\, writing\, basket weaving and so much more. These works invite the exploration of what it is to love someone or something\, to lose it and to emerge as someone new. This exhibition is love put into a physical form. \nAlongside the moving works and stories visitors are invited to put their own feelings into action at various displays and at the art table. This year there will be an inaugural ecological space for people to explore and act on their grief in relation to the bush fires and the ongoing loss and degradation of our land and ecology. \nSome works are for sale through a silent auction to raise funds for CATA. All money will go towards their efforts to provide art therapy to children effected by the bush fires. \n
